I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Crop and Soil Science at Oregon State University and the Primary Investigator of our team. My research interests lie in the invasion ecology of pest slugs and snails, and in the development and implementation of novel strategies for their management.

I am a Faculty Research Assistant and the Laboratory Manager. I am also the lead researcher on multiple projects in our lab. My interests lie in the identification of introduced species and the non-target effects of biological control.
I am a PhD student studying the potential for using plant extracts such as essential oils as novel biorational pesticides. My research focuses on both slug and insect pests of agriculture in Oregon.
I am an MS student studying the potential non-target effects of biocontrol nematodes in the genus Phasmarhabdits on native slug and snail species in the Pacific Northwest.
I am an undergraduate majoring in Ecological Engineering. I recently completed an URSA Engage project where I used community science observations to generate robust species accounts of terrestrial gastropods. I also presented my results at the 56th Annual Meeting of the Western Society of Malacologists.
I am an undergraduate double majoring in BioHealth Sciences and Innovation Management. I was also recently selected to be part of the Launching Undergraduate Research Experience (LURE) program. As part of that program I will conduct research on novel attractants for pest slugs and snails.
